I've been on this forum for a while now and realised I haven't made a post about my very special cockatiel, Wendy.

He's been my best friend for six years now. His favourite cage items are his various perches....he loves his cholla and java perches.

He has funny habits...such as saying 'yeah' when people have finished saying a sentence....this reminds me of Homer Simpson.

His favourite food is crumpets....we allow him a nibble of these as a rare treat....although he'll often try to charm my girlfriend into giving him more!

He's a gorgeous bird (I love his head feather's -- I call them brain feathers)!! My cockatiel (Tootsie) is 9.5 years old and so funny and honestly I believe he thinks he's human . He also loves people food and doesn't hesitate letting you know. Does Wendy whistle a lot and mimic sounds? My bird cracks me up as he imitates sounds of a zipper, clicking noises, kisses, brushing teeth, chewing and the list goes on.

Thanks for the comments.

Wendy does copy a few noises....the sound of wine being poured into a glass being the main one...probably a bad reflection on me!
