Albino Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster

Albino Campbells Russian Hamster The Albino mutation occurred in Hungary in 1988. The Albino has pure white fur on the back, sides and stomach. The eyes are clear red and the ears are flesh coloured. In some animals Albinos tend to be weaker or less healthy than other colours but there is no evidence to suggest that this is true of Albino Russian Hamsters.

Albino can be combined with coat patterns and types to produce Mottled Albino, Satin Albino, etc. However, white patterns on an Albino will not show but will be passed down to offspring.

For showing the Albino should be free from any staining of the coat.
