Black/Pink Eyed White (Dilute Platinum) Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster
Black Eyed White The Black Eyed White is a combination of a black eyed colour (eg Normal, Opal) with Platinum and the addition of a diluting gene. The coat is white and the eyes are black. The ears are flesh coloured but may have some black spots or patches. There may also be some coloured hairs in the coat, particularly around the coat. Pink Eyed White The Pink Eyed White is a combination of a red eyed colour (eg Argente) with Platinum and the addition of a diluting gene. The coat is white and the eyes are red and the ears flesh coloured. The appearance is that of an Albino although genetically very different. The Black or Pink Eyed White can be combined with any pattern or coat type. However, any white pattern, eg Mottled, will not be seen on the white coat but will be passed down to offspring. |
