my new baby :)

as you all know i have the arab race horse and the farm that she is on have 2 ferrets, well we finally have babies and one of them will soon be coming home to her new mummy :cheekywink: i'm just wondering when she can come from her mum and basically some advice please as this will be my first ferret and as good as books and the internet are you can't beat first hand experience :)

she called boo, and already loves coming for wonders on my shoulder, shes such a beaut!

mines the one with the purple just on her head and my friends is the other one, they will be living together so they've got company and are in a cage next to their mother :D, any advice is welcomed! x

Awww! They are sweet! I have never had ferrets before but my cousin keeps them, he says they don't handle hot temperatures well so make sure they are out of direct sunlight and are in a cool room, he also mentioned something about having them vaccinated against distemper? I hope all goes well with your new baby and she is very cute :D

awwwwww! how cute iam sorry i dont know about ferrets but iam sure sombody will be able to help you. if you dont mind me asking what is the purple dye for is it to identify them or somthing or an i wrong altogether and its for somthing else iam a bit daft really just made me chuckle a purple ferret lol but they are adorable you better watch out i might ferret nap her/him a freind of my mum when we was kids used to keep ferrets and hunt rabbits or them to eat but thats all i know is they like to eat rabbit lol good luck with him/her adorable let us know how it she/he settles in xxxxxxxxx :@)

sorry not had much time to come on recently! but yeah the purple dye is so we can tell them apart haha it is also used on any soars in animals such as my horse to stop infection so i knew it could only do good and no harm, as we know what all baby animals are like with their play fighting-someone always goes too far hahaha well they are home now i picked them up last night, they are so funny, playing with their toys and eating like theres no tomorrow! such characters as well, im in love all ready and buddy is extremely, lets say....interested aha xxxx

Oh they are too lovely, how lucky you are !!!! I`m sorry, I don`t know anything about Ferrets either but if you look on the `net I`m sure you`ll come across a forum or somewhere for Ferrets....They are too cute !!!
