Question My rat "gives me presents"

I got two rats about a week ago and they're adapting to their new home (and me and my boyfriend) really well. They're already comfortable running all over our hands and arms and licking treats like baby good off of our fingers. But one of them does this really weird thing where she'll hand me all her favorite toys! Or she'll leave them at the door of the cage when I'm standing there (getting them used to my movements and voice). And when she runs out of toys, she starts flinging the bedding everywhere and piling it up by the door as well! I was wondering if she's doing this to try to keep me out, or what??? Special thanks to anyone who can answer

I'm not sure about that actually sorry but glad your rats are settling in, sounds like you're doing a great job in helping them do so I guess she could be playing?

They're settling really well, and they've even made friends with our calico cat(:
