You can give him some hard dog biscuits - like bonios, this helps to keep their teeth from overgrowing - but overgrown teeth is a problem that happens more in adult hamsters rather than youngsters.

Yes he is an adult, and the dog biscuits are great for wearing down teeth, just make sure that there is no garlic or onion in them.

Hi, If your Hamsters teeth are more than 1/4inch long they need trimming by a vet, do not attempt yourself!
If the front teeth are over lapping and if side of hamsters mouth is wet they need trimming.
Give plenty of chew toys and biscuits so they can chew on them and keep teeth down.
Hope this has been some help to you.

well, I have 4 Campbell boys: Chas, Charlie, Colin and Caspar. They are my 3rd group, hence the 'C'... They were squabbling about the wheels, so now they have one each. But they still like to use the others. There is a bath, toilet, nuts, veggies, house, bridge.
