Polish RabbitHistory Of The Polish Rabbit The Polish Rabbit is in fact an English breed developed in the late 1880s and known as the Britannia Petite in the USA. At first the Polish Rabbit was only bred in the Albino and Blue Eyed White but later they were developed in other colours. Appearance Of The Polish Rabbit The Polish Rabbit is compact but elegant with slender legs. The head is small and rounded and the ears are small, erect and approximately 6cm in length. The coat is short, fine and thick. Colours Of The Polish Rabbit The Polish Rabbit is available in pure white with either red or blue eyes and other colours including Agouti, Red Agouti, Opal, Lynx, Chinchilla, Squirrel, Cinnamon, Orange, Fawn, Tortoiseshell, Steel, Black, Blue, Brown, Lilac, Sable Siamese, Smoke Pearl Siamese, Tan, Fox, Sable Marten, Smoke Pearl, Otter and Himalayan. Size Of The Polish Rabbit The Polish, along with the Netherland Dwarf Rabbit, is the smallest of rabbit breeds weighing just 700g - 1.1 Kg when adult. Character Of The Polish Rabbit The Polish Rabbit is very lively and not a "lap" rabbit and so is not particularly suited as a child's pet.
